Active Next round Seed Denmark SaaSDoubble have created a very successful app for double dates, or simply for meeting new people. Contrary to other dating apps, Doubble requires several matches between people to set up a date. When to people match, they need their friends to match as well, before they are notified of that match. Doubble gives people the opportunity to go on double dates with their best friends, in a more comfortable and relaxed environment, and get the opportunity to meet new people and have new experiences.

Dennis started at Copenhagen Business School, but after one year on his bachelor's, with very good grades, he dropped out to focus on building Doubble.

Ingmar has a master's degree from Copenhagen Business School. Before co-founding Doubble, he worked, amongst others, as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group.

Our investment thesis
Doubble are removing barriers and risks in online dating. Online dating can be both unsafe for women and awkward. What they actually do is that they reduce the “time to first date”: The time from first message to the actual first date. That they do because it is less “risky” with Doubble to go on a date. The barriers have simply been reduced. And they have also understood that removing this barrier can help overcome the loneliness that we see around the world.
