This means they can ensure the collection of payment claims through the court system, even for small amounts that were previously unprofitable to pursue. The algorithm determines the appropriate strategy and automatically files the case with the relevant legal authority. SmallClaims handles the ongoing dialogue and case management with the court and the opposing party and manages the collection after the judgment.

Christian has a masters degree in Law from University of Copenhagen, and has worked as an attorney, and as legal counsel for e.g. Too Good To Go, before founding SmallClaims.

Our investment thesis
Total number of potential small claim cases in EU below € 5000 is estimated to be 300 million including local and cross-border claims. Small claims are being dropped due to high legal cost, non-transparent process and not prioritising small claim lawsuits, as this is not core business of law firms, and SmallClaims is here to stop them being dropped.
