Aid to omics-researchers will help crucial research

Omics research is one of the main facilitators of pre-clinical research, but it is also a bottle neck due to data’s complexity, especially when contextualising data or integrating multiple dataset. Omics Studio is here to make the research less complex and more effective, thus wasting fewer, valuable research resources.
The founding team behind Omics Studio, having firsthand experience in omics research, witnessed the inefficiencies in managing vast, complex omics data sets. They saw an opportunity to simplify these processes and eliminate wasteful resource use, paving the way for breakthrough discoveries. Through their previous work with Biogenity, they identified two main challenges that researchers face, when taking the results beyond the data analysis and into hypothesis generation or testing. Many researchers cannot afford to hire the specialised expertise required for omics analysis and end up performing the complex tasks themselves, often leading to errors, knowledge loss and lengthy analysis times. For those with in-house expertise, capacity issues frequently create long wait times for the needed support.
This dual insight laid the foundation for Omics Studio. Omics Studio reduces the need, as it enables biologists to facilitate specialised workflows and presents the user with an accessible bioinformatical knowledge base. This approach also reduces the risk of errors by standardising analysis processes, ensuring consistent and reliable results. Additionally, Omics Studio bridges the gap between researchers and data scientists by enabling biologists to test hypotheses and present results clearly, allowing data scientists to gain a deeper understanding of the research objectives and take over the analysis at a more matures point in the analysis.
Omics Studio provides instant insights to a vast knowledge base, containing selected information from bioinformatic and clinical trial databases reducing repetitive searching through database. Additionally, by uncovering both existing and new pathway interactions, even those not directly linked, Omics Studio unlocks the full potential of a system biology approach to omics discovery. The platform’s intuitive interface allows biologists to independently test or generate hypotheses and allows for meaningful results, making advanced data analysis accessible even for teams without extensive in-house expertise.
“This has the potential to radically change the way scientists work, and allow for massive cost savings, as the preparatory work leading to clinical trials can be vastly improved.” – Mads Løntoft, Venture Partner at Accelerace.
With Accelerace on board, Omics Studio is set to release a rebuilt software in 2025, offering powerful tools for multiomics data analysis. This next phase will expand our proteomics and transcriptomics capabilities, with metabolomics soon to follow, bringing researchers closer to faster, more comprehensive discoveries in disease treatment.
“Having Accelerace on board as an investor not only supports our vision but also accelerates our path to bringing valuable omics solutions to researchers around the world.” – Louis Loeb, Co-Founder & CCO at Omics Studio.
