To be able to create a personal AI, a companion, for us, AIs have to be personalised. They have to know us. That demands data security, if we are to give away our most intimate details.
Kin is that personalised AI, with a strong focus on data security and data remaining with the user. Kin is your personal companion, who constantly learn about you and readjusts its interaction with you, dependent on those learnings. It can help you with personalised reminders, dealing with tough situations or simply being that companion you can talk to.

Kasper has had high-ranking positions both domestically and internationally - e.g. as Director of External Innovation with LEO Pharma. He has used his expertise and experience as mentor at MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund, and now stepped in as Co-Founder and CEO of Kin.
Simon Westh Henriksen, CTO
With an educational program in both software development and business economics, Simon leaped into the startup world as a co-founder of several companies - among them Signatours and Heap360 - before joining fellow co-founders at Kin.
Yngvi Karlson, CGO
A serial founder, investor and board member, Yngvi is firmly fixed within the world of startups. Yngvi started as founder of several startups, that he exited, before becoming an investor. In 2018 he co-founded Morph Capital, that has also invested into Kin.

Our investment thesis
Currently, LLMs are not personalised, and thus they cannot take our personalities and individualities into account, when giving us advice or simply speaking to us. Kin are carving out a whole new part of the AI-space, and are not direct competitors to the other major LLMs that are out there. LLMs such as ChatGPT and Gemini are work and efficiency tools, whereas Kin is something completely different.
It is a LLM that knows you. It constantly learns about you and can therefore give advice that fits with your personality and history. What the creators of Kin have realised, is that to create the perfect AI companion, we need to be willing to give away our most intimate details. And that is dependent on data security. Therefore they have a strong focus on data security and data remaining with the user.
