Active Next round Seed Latvia BeautySaaSSkin Bliss have built an AI system that can understand and recommend skincare for every skin type and skin concern. Their system can match people with the right product, by understanding their individual needs and the product’s formulation.
“It is like a Tinder match, but based on science and optimised for lasting relationships.”
The app can help with all aspects of skincare. It can give advice on products, based on the individuals’ skin profile, and whether or not there is a match. Costumers can customise their search for products and even take a picture of any ingredient list and receive feedback immediately.

Maria is a Doctor of Philosophy, with a PhD in Computational Cognitive Science, and she has worked as a Data Scientist for King, before she founded Skin Bliss with her co-founder, Marvin.

Marvin Uhlmann has a Masters Degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and is an experienced programmer and data modeller.

Our investment thesis
An average American woman uses 16 cosmetic products daily. The amount of time and money spent by users (mostly but not only women) is incredibly high and the frustrations of having to find the right match of skin care by trial and error and anecdotal evidence is super frustrating. There is a need for a data driven tool to ease this pain.
