The Upcycl are making waste materials circular
The Aarhus-based company are on a mission to improve how waste materials are dealt with. With 895 million tons of waste materials ending up in landfills every year, there is a clear problem that needs to be addressed. Instead of traditional recycling, the team are basing their model on what is known as upcycling – a way to repurpose waste materials.
