Active Next round Seed Finland SaaSWudpecker have created a promptable note taking app, using AI to search through meeting notes and creating action items from meetings across communication channels, such as Teams, Google Meet and Zoom. The aim is to expand to other forms of communication, to enable organisations to search for information across their communication channels, merely by prompting the AI, thus saving hours of work every day.

Ankur Dahama, CEO
Ankur has a Masters degree from the University of Tampere in Finland, and has worked in marketing for several companies, before he in 2022 co-founded Wudpecker.
Hai Ta, CGO
Hai moved to Finland to do his education at Tampere University. He has experience in sales, marketing and UX design, all of which he has taken to Wudpecker.

Our investment thesis
The modern workplace has too many communication channels that result in duplicated efforts, while data is scattered across platforms, making it hard to find crucial information, and a lot of time is wasted searching for information. Most users do not want to consume entire meeting recordings or long transcripts (or other type of extensive data that needs manual search). Nor do they want to bother their colleagues, especially, if working remotely. They would rather retrieve the relevant information as fast as they can. This extends beyond meeting data to emails, CRM, Slack, etc. Wudpecker solves this problem with a promptable AI that can search for the information across communication channels.
