During everyday listening, we can hear where sound is coming from, how far away things are, and what space we are in. Currently, when listening with headphones, these amazing hearing abilities are lost, and it sounds like the audio is inside our head. That gives a poor listening experience and can be very tiring. IDUN audio have developed dynamic spatial audio that brings a natural way of listening to headphones.

Founding team
Pauli Minnaar, CEO
Pauli has been working with sound his entire life. He has a PhD in acoustics and has worked as a software engineer at places like Oticon. He is a member of the board of the Danish Sound Cluster, and in 2018 he founded IDUN Audio, his most important project.

Our investment thesis
Spatial audio is the next thing that will become mainstream – especially as we use headphones for more and more things. Not only will our experience of sound in e.g. films, music and games be enhanced greatly, but it will also help us avoid headaches that current headphones can give you. IDUN Audio has a head start, because Pauli has been working on it for decades.
